About Me

I am a certified herbalist, hypnotherapist, life coach and author of the forthcoming novel, “un-Broken Children – Unlocking the Hidden Genius Within – Naturally”. I have been an advocate for drug-free therapies for more than 15 years. My youngest son was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 5 – after a 15 minute interview. I’ve been there. I’ve felt the pressure to medicate a perfectly normal, energetic little boy.

School should be a learning environment that is based on individual strengths and areas of passion instead of cookie-cutter classrooms. Education should be about identifying strengths and building up weaker areas. I specialize in working with young people, age 5 and up, who have been diagnosed with mental, emotional, behavioral and learning disorders, (i.e. ADD/ADHD, ODD, etc), offering natural solutions in the form of herbal, essential oil and flower essence formulas as a compliment to or replacement for the pharmaceuticals commonly prescribed for these disorders. For the parents and other family members, I can help you get off the pharmaceutical merry-go-round or find the solutions you seek to success.

By utilizing my formal education background in both traditional, complementary and alternative medicine, and education, in addition to over ten years of practitioner experience, I am able to aid my clients in identifying the most effective, SAFE, natural therapies to restore balance to their lives. I live in Titusville, FL and can be reached by phone at 360-525-8533, email at NaturesSimpleRemedies@gmail, or SKYPE. Call to schedule your FREE 30 minute consultation. My educational journey began with an Associate of Occupational Studies degree from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, Tempe, AZ in Mind-Body Psychology. Certifications in hypnotherapy and life coaching – graduating with a 4.0 GPA in 2006. Once I began seeing clients, I found other parents were asking the same questions I was asking. Is there some type of natural solution for these disorders? So…..

I returned to school for an Associate of Occupational Studies degree from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, Tempe, AZ, in Holistic Health – Western Herbalism. Certified Herbalist – graduating with a 3.94 GPA in 2008. I wanted to be able to relate to the information that allopathic doctors were giving to my clients, so………

I returned to school for a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Kaplan University, Chicago, IL, in Health & Wellness – graduating with a 3.86 GPA in 2012. As the number of children diagnosed with these disorders continued to rise, I was trying to figure out a way to reach more young people and their families. I had started working as a substitute teacher and tutor at a residential care center for young people. I saw the looks of bewilderment when the instructions given literally didn’t make any sense. I remembered my own son struggling with doing his school work “the right way”. I knew there had to be a way to modify the curriculum to meet the needs of these children. So……

I returned to school and received a Master’s degree from American InterContinental University, Schaumburg, IL, in Education with a specialization in Curriculum & Instruction – graduating with a 3.88 GPA in 2013. Oh, how I love to learn, especially things that I can share with others. So now I had come full circle. Working as a substitute teacher, even with a Master’s degree, did not provide a living that gave me any freedom to pursue my holistic work that includes helping people who are trying to get off the pharmaceutical merry-go-round. In order to offer more comprehensive natural solutions, I’ve decided to return to school one final time. So…….

I am currently enrolled in the Master’s program at the American College of Healthcare Sciences, in Portland, OR, in the Complementary & Alternative Medicine program – my anticipated graduation date is early 2016.
