Meet Joy Busacca, M.S.
My passion for healthy living was first sparked by a visit to a health food store when I was a teenager. I bought a bottle of bitters and thought I’d discovered a magic potion! Later, during my freshman year of college, I was enchanted by a course on nutrition. But it wasn’t until a few years later, when I began having health issues of my own, that I decided to return to that early passion. The quest to regain my health transformed into a desire to help others on their own journey to wellness.
My approach to nutritional counseling is simple: I believe in balance, not perfection. Individual attention, not a “one size fits all” diet plan. I help people improve their health by teaching them how to rebalance and heal their bodies through clean eating, exercise, and a healthful lifestyle. Together, we will create a program that’s best for you—no calorie counting or deprivation required. I believe food can and should be celebrated, and that it is 100 percent possible to enjoy yourself while taking good care of your health.
I hold a Master of Science in nutrition and I am board certified in holistic health. I have also received training in bioenergetic medicine, a way to look for different kinds of imbalances in the body. My other training includes Reiki, theta healing, and working with herbs and essential oils. I also enjoy healthy baking, because sometimes you just need a good brownie!
Are you struggling with health issues, like high cholesterol, low energy, or food sensitivity? On the yo-yo dieting roller coaster? Feeling just plain bad? Then let me, and my holistic approach to health and wellness, be your guide. Whether you’re looking to lose weight, improve a condition, or simply want to eat better and just don’t know how or where to begin, I can help you. I am now working with clients in the New York City area, so if you’re ready to start your journey to happy, healthful living, contact me and say hello.
